Baseball Recap: Sharyland Takes a Loss

Sharyland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Rowe Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Tuesday.

Sharyland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nic Valdez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Sharyland's loss dropped their record down to 12-4-2. As for Rowe, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Sharyland has already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest on the 25th. As for Rowe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-2 win against Palmview on the 25th.
