Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eagle Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Summit Tigers 90-47. Given the Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Tigers are ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Eagle Valley to victory were Dylan Zoller and Brian Fontana. Zoller went 10 of 15 en route to 23 points, while Fontana went 6 for 10 on his way to 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Braun, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.
