Springdale Prep waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on New Town with a sharp 59-38 victory.

Springdale Prep was led to victory by Anya Neufeld and Sam Poole 2026. Neufeld dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Poole 2026 went 5 of 10 on her way to 14 points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Neufeld a new career-high in blocks (five). Zing Yinpobil was another key player, putting up six points and ten rebounds.

Springdale Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for New Town, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.

Springdale Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-43 win against Carroll Christian on the 13th. As for New Town, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-12 victory against Kenwood on the 13th.
