Football Game Preview: St. Margaret's Tartans vs. Hillcrest Trojans + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Kai Letcher and Matthew Ramos are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The St. Margaret's Tartans will host the Hillcrest Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Margaret's is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest won against Valley View two weeks ago with 41 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Trojans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Monrovia 41-14. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Trojans had established a 21-point advantage.

Hillcrest's win came from a few key players St. Margaret's will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Reyez Ortiz, who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Hillcrest: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Shaw, who picked up 127 receiving yards and one score.

Hillcrest now has a winning record of 6-5. As for St. Margaret's, their record is now 7-4.
