Softball Recap: Moorestown Comes Up Short

Moorestown managed to slip by Northern Burlington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Quakers lost 13-3 to the Greyhounds on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Mackenzie Seibel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

Moorestown's loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Northern Burlington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moorestown will take on Bishop Eustace Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Quakers are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Northern Burlington, they will square off against Delran at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
