Soccer Recap: Mark Keppel Comes Up Short

Mark Keppel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Gabriel Matadors. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Aztecs couldn't quite close it out.

Mark Keppel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for San Gabriel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.

Mark Keppel will face off against Bell Gardens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Gabriel, they will challenge Alhambra at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
