With a playoff game on the line, the Bishop Gorman Gaels rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 56-11 win over the Patriots at home. Bishop Gorman's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Bishop Gorman had a senior duo take command as Micah Alejado threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes and Elija Lofton gained 170 total yards and three touchdowns. Alejado hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games.
Bishop Gorman's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 46.69 points. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
Bishop Gorman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Liberty also has no future games currently scheduled.
