George Washington came out on top against Montbello on Friday thanks in part to Nykira Barnett's efforts. Barnett posted seven points and seven boards, which was good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. She also posted a block, marking her first of the season.

Coming up, Barnett and George Washington will challenge Vista PEAK Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barnett will face off against Amirah Pena, the Bison's star point guard. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
