Softball Recap: North East Grape Pickers vs. Seneca Bobcats
It was a good run, but North East unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 12-4 to the Seneca Bobcats. North East was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Seneca apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April.
Julianna Coletta was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Alaina Rodemoyer, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
North East now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North East will take on General McLane at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seneca, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Harbor Creek at 4:00 p.m.
