Soccer Recap: Notre Dame Has No Trouble Against Edison

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elmira, Notre Dame was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Edison Spartans 9-0. It was an even better day for Davi Valente as he scored three goals for his team.

Notre Dame is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four contests. As for Edison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Notre Dame will take on rival Candor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Edison is set to challenge their familiar foe Watkins Glen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
