Basketball Recap: CHASE Comes Up Short

CHASE was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Faith Baptist Eagle 71-37. CHASE was probably out for revenge after losing 55-28 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Faith Baptist's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zech Gartrelle led the charge by putting up 19 points. Gartrelle's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Troy Smither was another key player, scoring 16 points.

CHASE's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Faith Baptist, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

CHASE has already played their next game (against FAITH HomeSchool), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Faith Baptist has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Faith Christian.
