Basketball Game Preview: Forsan Buffaloes vs. Reagan County Owls

Forsan is 1-6 against Reagan County since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Forsan Buffaloes will host the Reagan County Owls at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Forsan didn't have quite enough to beat Sterling City and fell 58-55. That's two games in a row now that the Buffaloes have lost by exactly three points.

Meanwhile, Reagan County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Eagles.

Reagan County is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points per game. As for Forsan, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-10.
