Soccer Recap: Ridge View Comes Up Short

Ridge View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sumter Gamecocks. Ridge View were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Sumter earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Ridge View's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Sumter, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 5-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge View will welcome Blythewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridge View will need to watch out since Blythewood have now posted at least four goals in their last five games. As for Sumter, they will be playing at home against Westwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
