Recap: McKenzie Rebels vs. Westview Chargers
The McKenzie Rebels lost against the Westview Chargers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. McKenzie's tough 55-30 defeat to Westview might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points McKenzie has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mccall Sims, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Ashlee Brent, who scored 12 points.
McKenzie's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Westview, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
McKenzie will be home for the holidays to greet Huntingdon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Huntingdon is ranked 72nd, while McKenzie is ranked 51st). As for Westview, they will head out on the road to face off against South Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Fulton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
