Cedartown came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Dalton, but Caine Woods wouldn't allow it. The Catamounts snuck past the Bulldogs with a 25-20 victory on Friday with plenty of help from Woods, who threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 118 yards on only 12 carries. He has become a key player for Dalton: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-5 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Cedartown still got an impressive performance from Jakobe Dorsey, who rushed for 141 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Dorsey is now averaging an impressive 103.5 rushing yards per game.

Dalton picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Cedartown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Dalton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cass at 7:30 p.m. As for Cedartown, they will head out to square off against Cartersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Hurricanes have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
