Bay City Western is a perfect 6-0 against Central since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will head out to challenge Wolves at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bay City Western and five for Central.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Bay City Western's offense. They fell 2-0 to Frankenmuth on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Bay City Western can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Frankenmuth are ranked 58th).

Meanwhile, Central lost 5-2 to Powers Catholic on Wednesday.

Central now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Bay City Western, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everything went Bay City Western's way against Central when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Bay City Western made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
