East Central had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They blew past the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders 3-0. The contest marked the Hornets' most dominant victory of the season so far.

While East Central might've won, it sure wasn't easy: SA Roosevelt scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20, 25-22.

Leilani Luisa paced East Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Luisa got some help from Farrah Funari and her 19 assists. Luisa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

East Central's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for SA Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

East Central has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Medina Valley on the 21st. As for SA Roosevelt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Floresville on the 21st.
