Volleyball Recap: East Central's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

While East Central didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Hornets not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While East Central might've won, it sure wasn't easy: SA Roosevelt scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 25-22.

The win was the seventh in a row for East Central, bringing their record up to 7-1. As for SA Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, East Central will challenge Medina Valley at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for SA Roosevelt, they will take on Floresville in a tournament on Thursday.
