Volleyball Recap: Sangre de Cristo Comes Up Short

Sangre de Cristo was the 3-0 winner over Sierra Grande when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Thunderbirds fell 3-1 to the Panthers on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 27-29, 25-13.

Sangre de Cristo has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Sierra Grande, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15.

Coming up, Sangre de Cristo will face off against Primero at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Sierra Grande does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
