The Slinger Owls will face off against the Cedarburg Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Slinger is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Slinger's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Grafton. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Black Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Slinger got a great performance from Will Baumhardt as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Baumhardt has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Chase Leverance was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Payton Tennies, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Cedarburg earned an 8-3 victory over West Bend East on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
Slinger pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Cedarburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
Cedarburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Slinger has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. It's a different story for Cedarburg, though, as they've only averaged .355. Will they be able to contain Slinger's hitters?
