Bromfield is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering West Boylston just ended the team's 14-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 7-6. Trojans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Lions since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Bartlett was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of Oxford by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since April 20, 2024.

Bartlett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Phillips, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Bromfield's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-2. As for Bartlett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
