After losing to Open Door Christian the last time they met, Oberlin decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Phoenix strolled past the Patriots with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 60-42. The Phoenix pushed the score to 56-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots cut but never quite recovered from.

Oberlin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jozayah Smith out in front who went 6-for-12 on his way to 15 points and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Smith a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Carmello Williams, who shot 83% from the field en route to 12 points and five boards.
