Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against Northpoint Christian on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Northpoint Christian Trojans by a score of 40-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since February 12, 2024.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Tori Robinson, who went 7-for-15 on her way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. That's the most rebounds Robinson has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rylee Hidrogo, who had six points.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Northpoint Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

As of now, neither Trinity Christian Academy nor Northpoint Christian have any future games scheduled.
