Volleyball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Paulding Panthers, falling 3-0. If the Golden Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bryan took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-21.

Nora Kunsman paced Bryan's offense, picking up eight kills. Kunsman got some help from Jozie Cordy and her 19 assists. Giesle Kidston controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bryan now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Paulding, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Bryan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Evergreen on the 26th. As for Paulding, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Jefferson on the 28th.
