Basketball Game Preview: Rogers Rams vs. Stadium Tigers

The Rogers Rams will challenge the Stadium Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Rogers' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Rogers is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Auburn on Friday. Rogers fell 71-64 to Auburn. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Trojans are ranked ninth).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ryan Avary, who went 8-for-9 en route to 18 points and five rebounds. What's more, he also posted a 89% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Treyshawn Weatherspoon was another key player, putting up 15 points and five steals.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Stadium beat Curtis 72-68 on Friday.

Stadium's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
