Football Game Preview: Apache Warriors vs. Texhoma/Goodwell

The Apache Warriors will venture away from home to square off against Texhoma/Goodwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Apache played against Cordell on Friday and won via forfeit.

Texhoma/Goodwell will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 13 points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Carnegie on Friday. Texhoma/Goodwell came out on top against Carnegie by a score of 48-35. Considering Texhoma/Goodwell's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Texhoma/Goodwell's record now sits at 5-3. As for Apache, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Apache might still be hurting after the 32-12 loss they got from Texhoma/Goodwell in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
