After a string of four wins, Marion County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Franklin County Flyers, falling 10-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since May 16, 2024.

Chloe Cox was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Tori Gribbins, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Marion County suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Franklin County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Marion County is taking a road trip to face off against Nelson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin County, they will host Henry Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
