Baseball Recap: New Hope Takes a Loss

New Hope has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.5 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against the Lafayette Commodores, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since February 21st.

New Hope's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1-1 and their overall record down to 10-7-1. As for Lafayette, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
