West Park strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 21-12 victory over the Grant Pacers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Pacers are ranked 205th).

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to West Park's defense and their seven sacks. Riley Sourivong was especially locked on to Grant's QB and sacked her four times. Laila Karzai got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

West Park's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Grant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.

West Park has already played their next game, a 19-13 defeat against McClatchy on the 24th. As for Grant, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-7 victory against Antelope on the 25th.
