It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mountain Island Charter had no problem doing just that on Monday. They put the hurt on the Bradford Prep Bears with a sharp 6-0 win. Mountain Island Charter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Bradford Prep from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Eden Lewis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Mountain Island Charter's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Bradford Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11-3.

Coming up, Mountain Island Charter will challenge Highland Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland Tech will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Mountain Island Charter surely won't give up without a fight. Bradford Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
