Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bountiful). They put the hurt on the Roy Royals with a sharp 13-4 victory on Wednesday. The RedHawks not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4, 2024.
Jacob Stapley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Stapley was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Christopher Suarez looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
