Volleyball Recap: Raines Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Raines kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Westside Wolverines by a score of 2-1. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Raines actually scored more points across those three sets (57-56), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Raines has already played their next contest (against Riverside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Westside, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Andrew Jackson on the 14th.
