Volleyball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Kingsley Stags. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Stags from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-6.

Ava Meyer paced Frankfort's offense, picking up two kills. Meyer got some help from Alice Luther and her three assists.

Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12-1. As for Kingsley, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 45-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Frankfort will take on Boyne City at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kingsley, they will head out to square off against Traverse City Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
