Volleyball Recap: West Plains Comes Up Short

West Plains was the 2-1 winner over Waxahachie when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Indians on Thursday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wolves were not able to get on the board.

Idaly Sotelo paced West Plains' offense, picking up seven kills. Sotelo got some help from Bella Wineberg and her nine assists.

West Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Waxahachie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

West Plains wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Tascosa on the 15th. As for Waxahachie, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Arlington on the 15th.
