After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gregory-Portland, Ray was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the King Mustangs a 1-0 shutout. The Texans wouldn't have won without Amorie DeLeon, who scored the game-winner.

Ray's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-2. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1.
