Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Bishop Walsh + How To Watch

Calvary Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Walsh Spartans on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bishop Walsh apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Calvary Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 26-24, 27-25, 25-16.

Madie Robinette paced Calvary Christian Academy's offense, picking up 21 kills. Robinette got some help from Olivia McCumber and her 27 assists.

Calvary Christian Academy will take on Cumberland Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Walsh, they will face off against Heritage Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
