Baseball Recap: Omaha North Comes Up Short

The Omaha North Vikings lost 10-1 to the Kearney Bearcats on Friday.

Omaha North saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Bolouvi, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Omaha North's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Kearney, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Omaha North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kearney, they will face off against Grand Island at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bearcats 3.6, the Islanders 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
