Chiawana has gone 9-1 against Hanford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chiawana Riverhawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Hanford Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Chiawana has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.

Chiawana is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Pasco: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Chiawana blew Pasco out of the water with an 83-40 final score. The Riverhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hanford ended up a good deal behind Richland on Friday and lost 85-66. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Bombers are ranked fifth).

Hanford's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Chiawana, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Chiawana against Hanford in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured an 84-47 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chiawana since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
