Basketball Game Preview: Mundy's Mill Tigers vs. Griffin Bears

The Mundy's Mill Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Griffin Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mundy's Mill is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mundy's Mill took on Jonesboro on Saturday. Mundy's Mill had to suffer through a 63-31 loss at the hands of Jonesboro. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Cardinals are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, Griffin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 64-60 to Central. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Mundy's Mill, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Mundy's Mill came up short against Griffin in their previous meeting on January 7th, falling 58-52. Can Mundy's Mill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
