Volleyball Recap: South Fulton Takes a Loss

South Fulton lost against Gibson County back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils came up short against the Pioneers, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-13.

Gabi Long paced South Fulton's offense, picking up six kills. Long got some help from Samantha Auxier and her eight assists. Karleigh Morgan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Gibson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, South Fulton will square off against Peabody at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gibson County, they will face off against Merrol Hyde Magnet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
