Football Game Preview: Washington Panthers vs. Normal University Pioneers + Official Tickets

The Washington Panthers will face off against the Normal University Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Washington against Morton as the team secured a 49-21 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six contests by 24 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Normal University blew past Lanphier, posting a 52-14 victory. The Pioneers pushed the score to 52-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Washington better keep an eye on Cade Cunningham. He was instrumental in Normal University's win, picking up 123 receiving yards and two scores, while also punching in one TD on the ground. Cunningham is becoming a predictor of the Pioneers' success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't). Bodey Klemmensen did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 86 receiving yards.

Normal University now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Washington, their record is now 8-1.
