Softball Recap: Bishop Takes a Loss

The Bishop Badgers didn't have quite enough to beat the St. Joseph Flyers on Wednesday and fell 5-3.

Bishop has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for St. Joseph, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Bishop will venture away from home to square off against Tuloso-Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph, they will welcome Charlotte at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25 runs per game on average), something the Flyers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
