Baseball Recap: Mitchell Drops Highest Score of Season Against Crawford County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mitchell). They put the hurt on the Crawford County Wolfpack with a sharp 10-3 victory on Monday. The Bluejackets haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Mitchell got a massive performance out of Dason Kerr, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Kerr a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Martin, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Crawford County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mitchell will square off against Scottsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawford County, they will host South Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
