Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask George C. Marshall). Everything went their way against the Yorktown Patriots on Friday as the George C. Marshall Statesmen made off with a 50-30 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Statesmen have posted since January 18th.

George C. Marshall now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Yorktown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. George C. Marshall and Annandale will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. George C. Marshall has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Yorktown, they will take on Blake at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
