Softball Recap: Voorheesville Takes a Loss

Voorheesville came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-2 to the Ichabod Crane Riders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-4 back in April.

Voorheesville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skylar Schmidt, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Voorheesville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ichabod Crane, their record now sits at 9-4.

Looking ahead, Voorheesville will head out on the road to take on Stockbridge Valley at 2:05 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ichabod Crane, they will welcome Shaker at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
