Softball Recap: Lake Station Edison Takes a Loss

Lake Station Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks, falling 19-0. The Fighting Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lake Station Edison's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lake Station Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-0 defeat against Illiana Christian on the 21st. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, they will face off against Marquette Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
