The Maranatha Christian Eagles will square off against the Del Norte Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maranatha Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.

Maranatha Christian is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Monte Vista: they outscored them in every quarter. The Eagles took down the Monarchs 71-53 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Monarchs: they've now won five in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maranatha Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Ralston, who posted 27 points. The contest was Ralston's third in a row with at least 16 points. Adrian Ownbey was another key player, putting up 19 points.

Meanwhile, Del Norte didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Tri-City Christian on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 53-48 win.

The victory got Maranatha Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Del Norte, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Maranatha Christian skirted past Del Norte 57-54 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Nighthawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
