Clifton took a 28-point loss the last time they faced off against Brady, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Cubs made off with a 7-6 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was nothing new for the Cubs as they're now sitting on three straight.
Clifton's defense made their presence known, laying out Sean Jacoby three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Caden Sweat, Deacon Williams, and Ivan Galindo, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Henrietta's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They strolled past Millsap with points to spare, taking the game 27-8.
Clifton better keep an eye on Cruse Coleman. He was instrumental in Henrietta's win, rushing for 155 yards and four TDs. Cooper Coleman did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 94 receiving yards.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Clifton has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 165.5 rushing yards per game.
