Baseball Recap: Castle Park Takes a Loss

Castle Park and Crawford squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Castle Park had to settle for second. They came up short against the Colts, falling 13-3. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured 13 defeats in a row.

Xavier Melendrez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Aldo Leon, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Castle Park's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Crawford, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Castle Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-1 victory against High Tech Mesa on the 23rd. As for Crawford, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-6 win against High Tech CV on the 23rd.
