Soccer Recap: Guyer Comes Up Short

Guyer lost against Coppell back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Guyer Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Coppell Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Cowboys are ranked 12th).

Guyer's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Coppell, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coming up, Guyer will be playing at home against Hebron at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coppell, they will head out on the road to square off against Little Elm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
