Recap: Franklin-Simpson Wildcats vs. Greenwood Gators
The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 66-42 margin over Greenwood. The win was nothing new for Franklin-Simpson as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Reesha Cawthorn was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last 15 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Savage, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Franklin-Simpson pushed their record up to 25-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.7 points. As for Greenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.
Franklin-Simpson will be playing at home against Glasgow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenwood, they will head out on the road to take on Monroe County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Monroe County is ranked 98th, while Greenwood is ranked 115th).
